Oasis Cove Marina – Investing in the Virgin Islands, Supporting Men's Health
At Cancer Support VI, we are fortunate to have community-minded partners who understand that building a stronger Virgin Islands means investing not only in our economy, but in the health and well-being of our people. This Men's Health Awareness Month, we are honored to shine the spotlight on Oasis Cove Marina, one of our generous matching partners helping to double the impact of every donation.
For Oasis Cove Marina, supporting Cancer Support VI was a natural extension of their commitment to the community they serve every day.
Located in Benner Bay on St. Thomas, Oasis Cove Marina is much more than a marina. It serves as a working home base for the boats, crews, captains, mechanics, and marine professionals who help power the territory's tourism industry. Every morning, boats leave the docks carrying visitors and supporting local livelihoods, creating what Oasis describes as a "true working waterfront" built on real jobs, real people, and a strong sense of community.
That commitment to community is deeply personal for owner and St. Croix native, who has spent nearly two decades living and raising a family on St. Thomas. Over the past 15 years, he and his family have launched and operated several businesses throughout the territory, guided by a simple philosophy: everything we build is built here, for here.
When asked why Oasis Cove Marina chose to support Cancer Support VI during Men's Health Awareness Month, the answer reflected a reality many of us know all too well.
"The marine industry is full of men who work hard, fix things themselves, and put off going to the doctor until something breaks. We know these guys, they're our captains, our mechanics, our dockhands, our friends. Men's Health Month is a chance to say out loud what this community needs to hear: get checked."
It's a message that resonates across the Virgin Islands. Too often, men delay important health screenings and preventative care. By supporting Cancer Support VI, Oasis Cove Marina is helping encourage lifesaving conversations while ensuring that no one in our territory faces a cancer diagnosis alone.
Like so many Virgin Islands families, theirs has also been touched by cancer.

Today, Oasis Cove Marina continues to invest in the future of the territory. Their recently opened fuel dock brings much-needed infrastructure and modern technology to Benner Bay, while supporting local charters, marine businesses, maintenance crews, and jobs. Their vision extends far beyond docks and slips, they are helping build a marine economy designed to serve the community for decades to come.
