At Cancer Support Virgin Islands (CSVI), we are on a mission to ensure that no Virgin Islander faces cancer alone. Since 2005, we have served as a trusted resource in the community, providing financial assistance, holistic support, and advocacy for individuals and families navigating cancer.

Every dollar donated to our patient fund directly supports cancer patients, helping cover critical needs such as treatment-related expenses, travel, and essential support services. As a founding member of the USVI Cancer Coalition, CSVI is committed to strengthening coordinated, community-wide support for those navigating cancer.

Barb Michaud serves as the Director of Cancer Support VI (CSVI), where she’s been a driving force behind the organization’s growth and impact since 2014.  Appointed Director in 2019, Barb has led with purpose and passion, building programs and expanding services that meet the urgent needs of those faced with cancer.  Through strategic leadership and donor engagement, Barb has driven the fundraising efforts that have generated over $5 million dollars for cancer support services in the territory.  Under her guidance, CSVI has also expanded its staff and infrastructure to better serve patients and strengthen long-term sustainability.

Barb’s professional background in sales and marketing brings a strategic and relationship driven approach to non profit development, fundraising and community engagement.  Her connection to the mission is deeply personal- after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and receiving support from CSVI, she’s made it her life’s work to pay it forward by championing the cause and ensuring no one faces cancer alone in the Virgin Islands.

A proven track record in campaign leadership, donor relations and non profit transformation, Barb continues to inspire, amplify impact and foster hope in the territory.

As Director of Operations for Cancer Support VI, Anna joined CSVI in 2024, a pivotal time for CSVI as the organization was transitioning to our own 501(c)3. Anna leads the day-to-day operations, programs, and community initiatives in support of cancer patients across the U.S. Virgin Islands.

With a background in operations and administrative management, event planning and a keen sense for organization, Anna plays a central role in ensuring that patients receive timely, compassionate assistance when they need it most. She oversees volunteer coordination, fundraising events, program execution, and internal systems that allow the organization to respond quickly and effectively to patient needs.

Anna is deeply committed to strengthening access to care in the territory. Her work focuses on streamlining processes, building strong community partnerships, and expanding the reach of Cancer Support VI’s programs.

In addition to her operational leadership, Anna works closely with donors, partners, and stakeholders to grow sustainable support for the organization’s mission. She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that connect the community to the cause and ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
