Patient & Community Support Specialist
(Contract, Part-Time) Up to 30 hours per week
Cancer Support VI (CSVI) serves as a bridge between medical care and real life, ensuring that individuals in the USVI facing cancer are supported not only clinically, but practically, emotionally, and financially throughout their journey.
We are seeking a Patient & Community Support Specialist to help ensure that cancer warriors experience continuity of care, access to critical resources, and compassionate, structured support.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, can work with deadlines, emotionally intelligent, and able to balance empathy with strong professional boundaries while working alongside healthcare providers and community partners.
Position Overview
The Patient & Community Support Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for individuals accessing CSVI services. This role focuses on non-clinical navigation, helping patients access financial assistance, and other essential resources.
In addition to direct patient support, this position plays an important role in strengthening CSVI’s programs by identifying gaps, contributing insights, and helping elevate patient voices in a respectful and privacy-conscious way.
To apply please submit your resume to info@cancersupportvi.org and complete the required screening questionnaire.
