Community Comes Together for Men's Health Month, Raising Nearly $25,000 for Local Cancer Support
Cancer Support VI is proud to celebrate the success of our 2026 Men's Health Awareness Month campaign, which brought our community together to raise nearly $25,000 in support of local cancer patients and families across the Virgin Islands.
Throughout the month, individuals, businesses, healthcare providers, and community partners united to raise awareness about the importance of preventive care, early detection, and access to trusted health resources for men.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous Matching Partners, whose leadership inspired others to give and helped maximize the impact of every donation made during the campaign:
Their commitment encouraged our community to come together in support of an important cause and ensured that every dollar made an even greater difference.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to the healthcare providers, organizations, and community partners who shared educational resources, promoted our Men's Health Hub, and helped connect men and their families with valuable local health information throughout the month.
We were especially encouraged by the participation in Wear Blue Day, as businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals across the territory wore blue to spark conversations about men's health and remind the men in our lives that prioritizing their health is one of the greatest investments they can make for themselves and their families.
While Men's Health Month may have come to a close, the need for education, screenings, support, and access to care continues year-round. The funds raised through this campaign will help Cancer Support VI continue providing financial assistance, patient support, education, and navigation services to individuals facing cancer throughout the Virgin Islands.
To everyone who donated, shared our messages, wore blue, or helped spread awareness—thank you. Your generosity and commitment demonstrate what is possible when a community comes together with a shared purpose.
Together, we are building a healthier Virgin Islands—one conversation, one screening, and one act of generosity at a time.
